Missing Toronto man Raheem White found dead in city’s west end

After disappearing nearly seven months ago, 26-year old Raheem White was found dead on Monday morning, say Toronto police.

Police say White was “located” in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Ellis Avenue area shortly before 10 a.m. Monday

Raheem White’s death comes after a seven-month search that left White’s loved ones concerned for his safety, describing it as “out of character” for White to go missing.

Toronto police released a video appeal last month in a bid for information into White’s sudden disappearance.

According to investigators, White left his place of work in the area of Pelham Avenue and Osler Street driving a green delivery truck. His truck was located several hours later around 7 p.m. in a parking lot near Sunnyside Beach.

Police say White was last seen on Dec. 1, 2021 at 3:38 p.m. in the Kenneth Avenue and Indian Road area.

Toronto police had said then they were concerned for his safety.
